Care Guide

Wooden Items

We recommend using a dry cloth to remove any dust. Do not tampen it, since it might result in the wood absorbing the water and diminishing its life.

Fabric Items

Wash your items by hand to lenthen its lifespan. The better you treat your item, the more usage you will be able to get from it.

We understand it’s outside of the norm, so we have a few tips to get you started:

  1. Separate your lights and darks to wash separately
  2. Obtain a bucket, bowl, or plug the sink drain (depending on item size)
  3. Add cold water mixed with a few drops of laundry detergent
  4. Carefully wash and lightly scrub to clean
  5. Rinse detergent by running cold water until the water runs clear
  6. Hang to dry

We do not recommend using a machine, since doing this can shorten the life of your item or destroy it. However, we understand life can get busy, and you might be tempted to use the washing machine, so if you decide to take the risk, consider:

  • Not throwing items into the machine and using a laundry or net bag instead to prevent stretching, rips, and tangling
  • Choose cold water for all cycles
  • Use the lowest spin cycle (i.e. delicates or hand wash option)
  • Hang to dry, do not put in dryer
